Simple Robbery 11-16-09

The detective met with the victim, a student of 35 senior high school.
The victim was attending a basketball game at St. Augustine High
school, when he learned the game was being canceled due to it raining
inside of the gym. The victim exited the building into the 1900 block
of Hope Street at about 8:40pm to phone his aunt to pick him up. While
telephoning his aunt, an unknown black male snatched the phone from
the victim’s possession. The victim attempted to retrieve his cell
phone from the subject at which time another subject struck the victim
in the face with a closed fist. Both subjects fled the scene.

Wanted:

#1 Unk bm, 5ft 7in, wearing: black baseball cap, black jeans, gray
tennis shoes

#2 Unk bm, 5ft 7in, wearing: white t-shirt and blue jeans, dreadlock
hair style

Fifth District Detectives are actively investigating this case.
