Attempted Murder Florence and Lawrence

On October 01 at approximately 2000hrs, Officers observed an unknown
subject firing two shots in the air, while standing outside the gate
of Behrman Stadium at the O. Perry Walker/Rummel football game.
Subject attempted to flee the scene, at which time a Fourth Distict
officer engaged the armed subject and deployed his IED at the subject.
At this time, the subject turned and discharged a round at the Police
Officer, at which time he was subdued by officers without further
incident. The juvenile subject was arrested for attempted murder of a
police officer and transported to the Juvenile Bureau
