Attempt Simple Robbery in the 8200 Block of Oak Street

On Friday, July 2, 2010 at approximately 6:35 am the victim parked her
vehicle in the 8200 block of Oak Street. As she attempted to walk
across the street she observed an older Model cutlass pull in the
parking lot and suddenly stop. An unknown black male exited from the
front passenger side of the vehicle, approached the victim and
demanded money. The victim began screaming and struck the suspect in
the head with the purse, at which time the suspect got back into his
vehicle and fled.



The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20’s thin build,
and possibly wearing a plaid shirt. The suspect vehicle is described
as a late model Oldsmobile, bronze in color possibly from rust.
