that order of Secrets of Videoblogging should be arriving at my house by tomorrow.
can i get everyone who said they wanted books to give me their mailing address please.

i leave for india next week, so i need to get this done this week.
if not, you'll have to wait until mid november for these.

We are setting up Meet The Vloggers on OC next month and this will be great to use at that event.

Also, Yesterdays meetup went really well. This week (hopefully) I will be meeting up with two sisters that attended and help them get a video blog set up. I have video of the event and will get it up ASAP.

Going forward, the events will be more like sessions, or workshops. I feel that after 3 get to know us events we have a good presence here and can now focus on small workshops.

just to be clear about what these books are intended for
i bought these books using node101 money
for people teaching workshops/classes consistantly.
these are meant to be a resource for students when folks are teaching.

i've recieved a number of emails off list

I am! I'm so happy - two teenagers found the node101phoenix.org site
and contacted me. They want to learn to vlog so they can create a show
where once a week they go buy something they've never tried from the
grocery store and eat it on camera and describe it. I talked to them on
the phone and it seems like they have this honest curiosity about the
fruits & veggies their mom never buys, and different ethnic foods. So
they'll have to figure out how to prepare it, etc. make mistakes. I
think it's going to be hilarious.

Thank you Ryan!!! The package arrived a couple days ago. The book looks great. I asked Bonny to read through one (she has not been involved in the technical side of video blogging yet). She likes it.

I will be using the book to teach from at our next meeting.
