Hey there,

I've been working with nonprofits in second life via the TechSoup virtual
office on Information Island. (I produced our mixed reality event ..)
Anyway, we just received an in-kind contribution that will allow us to give
space to nonprofits. We're working on setting up a pilot. I'd love to get
node 101 involved ... Email me offlist.

The space is for nonprofits -- doing social change work. You don't have to
be a 501-c3 ..

Here are some highlights of TechSoup Sl is currently working on and what we
have done:

# We have weekly friday meetings where we discuss our various projects in
the TechSoup space in Second Life. Some of the nonprofits that have going
on in Second Life

I just started playing in SL and I don't really get it yet. Keep in
mind I still haven't figured out how to pick things up. I'm interested

Cool, Faux Press Island!

If anyone wants to find me in SL my name is Hummingcrow Digital. I
don't spend a lot of time in there because it can be such a time drain
and I get sick of people randomly hitting on me, but if anyone wants to
