Hello Again from the environmental Club!

This Thursday we talked about a few things, namely, T-Shirts, a new logo for the club, Environmental Messages Campaign, and the Recycling Work-Study program. Read on for some updates from the club :)

Work-Study - Please help! We need work-study people! The club is in charge of the bottles & cans recycling at the school and we now have students do this through the work study program. This just takes up a free block and you get paid and receive credit towards graduating for emptying the recycle bins. (Also, bragging rights for being awesome enough to manage the school's recycling). You won't get paid a lot, and it's not a lot of credit either, but it's a great way to help the club, the school, and of course, the environment! If you can't help out, please at least help us spread the word and ask your friends if they're interested

T-Shirts - We will be placing an order of 200 T-Shirts to sell to raise money for the club. They're really soft and made from organic cotton! We have not yet decided on a price. You can see the T-Shirt at http://www.cafepress.com/nnhsenviroclub.68531777

Environmental Messages Campaign - We want to put environmental messages EVERYWHERE, on t-shirts & swag at our online store, on posters all over the school, on anything that can display a message. This could be facts/trivia, or simple message like "Think Green." We'd like this to be an ongoing campaign that will raise awareness throughout the community and something that we can always be working on.

New Logo - We would like a new logo for the club. This would be something significant, simple, and a good representation of the club. This could be put on our website (coming soon), T-Shirts & swag at our online store, etc. If you can submit the design which we chose, we might throw a free t-shirt your way ;)
