Dear colleagues,

Hope all is well!
The graduate program on Genetics, Conservation and Evolutionary Biology at INPA, Manaus (http://gcbev.inpa.gov.br/) has one post doctoral fellowship available.
The post doc will teach in the graduate course (one short term course, lasting usually 15 days, per year) and advise students (Masters and PhD).
The fellowship is from CAPES (http://www.capes.gov.br/bolsas/bolsas-no-pais/pnpd-capes), the salary is R$4,100.00 (REAIS, 1 Dolar=2.3 Reais) and CAPES also gives funding for research but I still don't know how much (I would say something between 10.000 and 30.000 reais a year). There are also several large funded projects going on in which the candidate could get involved.
The fellowship is for 12 months initially, but can be extended every year until the limit of 60 months. It can start at any moment between now and december/2013.
It would be great to have more people here working with biogeography and evolution, as we have plenty of field expeditions, lots of samples, a good molecular lab. and several very good students!
If you now of anyone who could be interested, could you please let them know and contact me?
Thanks!
Camila
