The number of migrant deaths reported by the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner in March, 2023 was 15., Only 13 are listed here pending full data on the other two (they will appear next month).
Recently found individuals grouped by PMI (Post Mortem Interval):
2 dead less than a day
1 dead less than 3 months
2 dead less than 6-8 months
8 dead more than 6-8 months
Total: 13
Updates for previous cases:
2 individuals newly identified by name (1,500 cases remain unidentified)
1 past case was merged with another because the two sets of remains were found to be from the same individual.
