Ok ... cleary our Google Group is the #1 source for information about
Computing - IT and related high tech activities in NH (probably
not) .... So what other sources should folks be checking? ..
Please post your pointers to our group so that folks can find other
useful resources.
(PS we have one confirmed hire from the April 14th jobs futures
fair ... not bad since we did not actually expect companies to be in a
hiring mode ... with BAE Systems in case you are looking)

Hello Folks,

I would recommend the "Internet Storm Center StormCast" at 'http://
isc.sans.org/' to watch for new trouble brewing on the internet.

=
General introduction (I think this was appropriate back in the
beginning of mailing lists):

Someone invited me into this mailing list and I signed up. It seems
like a great idea for New Hampshire.

I have been working at the University of New Hampshire for around 15
years. Currently I have been maintaining network services such as our
modified "netreg" NAC solution, DNS and DHCP servers and many other
aspects of providing core network services to the UNH community.

Historically, I have always been mostly an observer to these type of
mailing lists. However, I see that this is more of a local group so I
thought what the heck if I can offer something to our community great!

I'm a huge fan of a couple of portal sites. http://www.netvibes.com
and http://www.google.com/ig (aka iGoogle). Configuring what interest
I have is very important to me. Too many sources of information to
digest each one individually.
