ORGANIZING AUTHORITY: CASCO BAY LASER FLEET

1. RULES: The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the Laser Class Rules (ILCA), this Notice of Race (NOR), the Sailing Instructions (SI) as issued, and any amendments.

2. ALL CLASSES: ILCA 7, 6, 4 . Class sails are not required.

3. ELIGIBILITY: open to all ages, advertising is allowed

4. SCHEDULE:

           Registration /Rigging         1130 - 1210

Brief Skipper’s Meeting       1210

First Warning               1300

Last Warning No later than  1500     

Celebratory Gathering Hot Food/Drinks

5. ENTRY: Entries and Registration will be conducted on the Junior Sailing Program Deck at PYC. 

The entry fee for the entire series: $50 (or $15 per day).

The entry fee for the entire series: jr sailors $35 (or $10 per day).

6. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Will be shared are Skipper's Mtg

7. SCORING: Low Point Scoring as per RRS Appendix A. There will be one discard for every 5 completed races.

8 . Awards: unique daily handicaps, commemorative keepsake for those who register for the entire series, overall awards

8. REGATTA AREA:

Rigging: at PYC parking lot/field

Launch: at PYC ramp

Racing: just outside of the anchorage

9. COURSES: Windward-leeward of varying length and number of legs, Triangles, and Harry Andersons
