Welcome back to another year of Fleet 413 Frostbiting!
The 2024-2025 season promises to be another epic edition. First and foremost, we would like to announce new leadership: Adrian van der Wal and Mike Zonnenberg have boldly stepped in to take the reins as Fleet Captains. Beaker and I are happy to hand things over to such capable and enthusiastic sailors! A huge thank to you Beaker for so many years of dedication to Fleet 413!
2nd - The Fat Boys Regatta will be held at Sail Newport on Saturday, November 2, with the first start at Noon. We are lucky to have Moose McClintock, Cushing Anderson, and Kelly Ferro on board to run the day. We will hopefully see a lot of all three of them this year, so please thank them when you see them! Registration for the Fat Boys can be found on the fleet website.
3rd - Regular frostbiting will begin the following Sunday, Nov 10, with the first start at 1pm as usual. Registration isn't set up yet but will be available soon on the fleet website.
So, drag your boat out of the shed, dust off the cobwebs, check your rigging, replace your ratty old main-sheet or hiking strap, inspect your spars and rivets, tell your friends how awesome frostbiting is, and encourage them to come join us this year! We'll see you in a couple weeks,
