The Amherst Invite 2019 is now accepting bids!

We are now accepting bids for the 2019 Amherst Invitational High School Tournament. To get info, instructions and a link to the bid form please go to our web page:

The tournament will take place on Saturday, May 11, and Sunday, May 12, 2019.

The bid deadline is January 31, 2019 but we strongly urge teams to make their plans and submit their bids early.

This year we will be fielding 4 divisions of 8 teams each:
Girls Div-I
Girls Div-II
Open Div-I
Open Div-II

We expect to receive well over 40 bids, and we only have room for 25 visiting teams. We will use the following criteria to select teams:

Open Div-I and Girls Div-I: we will give preference to the most competitive teams who apply from around the country. We are already hearing rumors of some great teams that are planning on submitting bids!

Open Div-II and Girls Div-II: we will give strong preference to new and developing teams and teams who apply from the Northeast Region, particularly New England.

This will be our 28th annual tournament - possibly the longest-running high school tournament in the country. Our tournament has fantastic community support, big crowds watching the games, and lots of goodies for visiting teams including team boxes, Saturday lunch boxes, Saturday post-game pizza, and free Friday and Saturday night hosting by a local Ultimate family if requested. Regardless of if you are an 'elite' team OR a new/developing/rebuilding team the AI is a great opportunity to experience a high-calibre two-day tournament.
