Instructor Workshop 8/28

In case anyone missed this on Facebook, we're hosting an instructor
training workshop on 8/28, from 10am-5pm.

Sponsored by the HEMA Alliance, led by Nathan Weston and Julie Olson of
Athena School of Arms.
This workshop will provide both new and experienced instructors with a
foundation in the fundamental principles of coaching. Topics covered
include:
• Creating a safe and supportive learning environment
• Using games to develop tactics and movement skills
• Designing and using drills
• Giving effective feedback and corrections
• Basic concepts of motor learning
The workshop will prepare attendees for the HEMA Alliance's new Level 1
Instructor Certification.
