The NC State STARS Chapter is hosting a virtual talk this Wednesday about "Applying and Funding for Graduate School" and we would love to see you there!


WHEN: Wed, Oct 8, 2-3 pm Eastern Time


WHO: Undergrads thinking about grad school, and first-year grad students interested in fellowships.


WHAT: Advice for preparing personal statement, proposal, and references for grad school and fellowship applications.


Advice is applicable to grad applications and other fellowships, but the talk will focus on the NSF Grad Research Fellowship (GRFP), due Nov 10-14 by discipline, see https://www.nsf.gov/funding/opportunities/grfp-nsf-graduate-research-fellowship-program/nsf25-547/solicitation
