Folks,

As you may or may not know, we are renovating the Holodeck classroom space as part of our lease renewal agreement.  This construction project is starting this week, so the Holodeck is officially offline starting today.  I apologize for the short notice, but with the budgetary restrictions that George spoke on in the Faculty/Staff meeting a few weeks ago, we were unsure of whether this could happen.  This will be a little disruptive, but the contractors will make it as painless as possible.

I have stacked the chairs and clustered the tables for the Surplus folks to pick them up, so please keep them where they are currently.  The contractors will be placing a temporary barrier up near the main entrance this week to contain dust from the wall removal that will be happening, so please stay out of this area once that barrier is placed.  This project is scheduled to be completed by the end of November.  Let me know if anyone has any questions.
