Hi folks,
Some sectional information for this weekend. We have a few new folks on this list, so I'm including the important info from the previous mail. Please feel free to forward this message to anyone who might be interested in future info from the NCFAA.

SE Sectionals will be at Big Buck on 13 & 14th June.
Please note that start times are 10am Saturday and 9am Sunday. Registration will be from 8:30am to 9:30am. This is important, because we'll have a shotgun start (every group starts at the same time on a different target), so everyone needs time to be in place on the course before 10am.
Groups for Saturday will be assigned by Joel & Jackie during registration. Groups for Sunday will be based on Saturday's scores, so again, please be at Big Buck early enough to find your group and get out to your place on the course before the 9am shotgun start.

Bring this completed registration form to the Sectional: https://www.nfaausa.com/sites/default/files/UPDATEDSectionalApp.pdf
More details, including directions and contact information, here: https://www.nfaausa.com/sites/default/files/SE%20Sectional%20News%20NC%20changed.pdf
Friendly reminder: this tournament will use all NFAA rules, so it's worth taking a look through pages 27-43 of this document before you go: https://www.nfaausa.com/sites/default/files/2014-15%20ConstByLaws.pdf. It's always worth asking or checking beforehand if you aren't sure about a rule.

Lunch on Saturday will be chicken quarters and baked potatoes for $7.

Please check that your membership is current, either by looking at your membership card or logging in here to check your last order: https://www.nfaausa.com/user/login. If all else fails, I can check my records for you.
Most people renewed just before the Indoor Championships, but be sure to take your card or email confirming membership along with your registration form. You can renew online here: https://www.nfaausa.com/membership

A side note about trophies: they tend to take a long time, because they come from the NFAA via Florida. Some people are still waiting for their Indoor Sectional trophies. I promise, they will arrive eventually by mail.

This email is also your 2 month notice that our Annual Meeting will take place at Durham County Wildlife Club on August 8th after the shoot.  Prior to the meeting there will be an email survey to help keep the actual meeting quite short.
This is the one time each year that we can vote to update our constitution, which is the document that defines everything we do and how we do it. Your thoughts and ideas will help to form the agenda, so please let me know what's good, what's not so good and how you can help us to keep growing field archery in NC.  I updated the constitution after last year's meeting, but never got it formatted well enough to post on the website. If there is a volunteer out there who can tidy it up, I'll make sure we get a copy out for review.

It has been awesome to see so many kids and families at our field shoots this year! Some super scores have been coming in, so maybe we'll have some new State Records next week.

Cheers,
            Kirsten
