My name is Ross and I'm an Energy management major at sonoma state
university. I'm really excited about this group and hope to have my
own business someday.
This post is mainly concerned with the difficulty i've had finding
reliable internship opportunities. If there are any business owners or
employees that are looking for interns please contact me. Even if it's
not the right kind for me i'll still relay the info to my fellow peers
at SSU.
Thanks.

Hi Ross,

Please give me a call, I am a business coach/consultant and am starting a
really interesting new green company and we are looking for interns.

I founded and ran a ground breaking green company in the nineties and had
interns from all over the country. I set up a great internship program for
them and it was a terrific success for everyone involved.

I look forward to talking with you soon.

Warm regards,

Lorna

Hi Ross:

We are looking for interns, but we are located in San Francisco (in the
Marina-- right over the bridge). The work could involve doing sales of our
guides at events in Marin as well. Check out our website
(www.thegreenzebra.org), and call me on my mobile after 2 pm today if you
are interested in talking. Also, please send me a resume and references if
you are interested.

-Anne

This message arrived in my inbox, but I'm thinking that you intended

This message was not a mistake. I'm looking to connect businesses with
Sonoma state Environmental major students. If you have any interest
please contact me.

Apologies for the lack of response. This next month or so I'm swamped
by schoolwork. But once i'm off for winter break i can see myself
working. I have a background in sales and have found that i can do it
as long i'm selling something that i believe in. I went to your site
and like the coupon/ informational booklet that you guys are selling.
It's very inspirational.

Thanks for the awsome reply.
For the next month or so i'll be stowed away in the library grinding
through the rest of the work i have for the semester. Your offer is
very hopeful and i look forward to talking with you soon. Once i'm
done with that i'll be glad to commit myself to an internship. I feel
you have exactly what i'm looking for and i don't want to be counted
out because of school work.
If interns are needed immediately try e-mailing your offer to Jo-ann
at EN...@sonoma.edu, She makes a weekly posting of internship
opportunities for all Environmental majors.
thanks again,
Ross Parker

Sorry, rex. I hit reply to this intern's inquiry, not realizing that the reply would go to the whole google group. Sorry to bother you!

Hello,
I have a request regarding emails about which some of you may be unawares. That is, when replying to an email that was sent to a group, please respond only to the sender unless it is relevant to the rest of the group. I appreciated hearing the initial request from Ross. However, all the responses to Ross' email came to all of us!

So, in consideration of the increasing number of emails filling our mailboxes which are unrelated to our business or personal interests, please remember this tip when responding.

Much thanks! And may the holidays bring you an awareness of blessings you haven't before noticed.

Eveline,

I will do so immediately!! Sorry that you are leaving the mailing list for
the North Bay Sustainable Business Alliance. (And I apologize if you felt
you were getting spam'med...not our intention.)

Please folks, I love that there is group communication going on for
opportunities for alliances and referrals -- however let's use listserve
etiquette and be conscious of the addressee list on replies so that others
are not inconvenienced by our messages intended for single addressees.

Thank you so much for your consideration....
