Greetings from the National Campaign on Dalit Human Rights!
As you are aware that the Union Budget was presented by the Finance Minister today. The Union budget analysis is one of the major focus areas among many which is undertaken by the Dalit Arthik Adhikar Andolan- a unit of NCDHR. Every year, immediately after the release of the Union Budget by the Hon’ble Finance Minister of India, NCDHR conducts an in-depth Dalit and Adivasi Budget analysis overnight and brings out Dalit and Adivasi Budget Analysis (DABA) in both printable and digital format for the general public the very next day, followed by the Press conference where the Budget Analysis team shares the important data and pieces of information which were captured during the Budget analysis and its impact on the Dalit and Adivasi community and other marginalized communities in the country. We acknowledge and understand the pivotal role of the Union Budget in deciphering and demarcating the Development programs and entitlements for the welfare of the Dalit and Adivasi communities. This year too we will embark on this analysis and will present this through an online webinar. We are immensely excited and honoured to invite you to the Online DABA Press Conference which shall be held on July 24 ( tomorrow) from 2 pm onwards. Your presence and meaningful participation would strengthen our work and we call on your for your solidarity!
