Is there any way to view ALL my completed tasks, rather than just the most recent?  Thank you.

Yes. Check the icon that looks like an eye. It has three settings:
  • Completed tasks shown
  • Completed tasks hidden
  • Old completed tasks hidden

Thank you, Elizabeth.  I hadn't noticed that the eyeball icon had multiple settings.

I set it to "Completed Tasks Shown", but I still am seeing only two items with 5 sub-items listed in "Completed, Completed in Outline".  I have many, many more completed tasks than that.  For instance, I have a payroll run twice a month, with over 20 sub-items in it.  I've been using MLO through 2 or 3 payroll runs, but not even one shows up in the Completed, Completed in Outline task list.

Is there another setting that I might have wrong?  Thank you.

There are likely additional filters applied in your current view. You can review them in the Filter panel on the left.

If you're unable to identify the cause, you can export your view and send it to us at sup...@mylifeorganized.net so we can investigate.

To export a view:

  1. Save the view. At the bottom of the left sidebar you can find the options for discarding changes or saving them. Click the arrow at the right edge of the button, and select "Save view as". Enter a name for your new view and check it in the list of Views.
  2. Right-click the view in the Views pane.
  3. Select Export View(s).
  4. Choose a destination folder, enter a file name, and save the file.

Another possible reason which surprised me is that my recurring tasks were just changing the dates so there was no previously completed task to find. I think there is an option to keep creating a new recurring task but I don't remember what that is.
