View/Dashboard with tasks on top half and task properties on the bottom half

I've looked at Views and Dashboards.  

Looking for a way to have a small window on my screen with my list of tasks (eg Inbox) on the window top half, and when I click on a task, the notes and properties display on the window bottom half.

Any advice?

Hi Robyn.

I'm saddened to say the answer is (likely) "no can do". I have those small windows open all the time, about 3 of them, and when I need further detail I 2le click, and the "big mother" opens. But as to properties in a lower pane, no.
