So far so good ... it's really telling in boring conference calls how easily I reach for distraction.

 

I did have to increase the unlock difficulty :)

I'm definitely feeling much more mindful and I think an added bonus is that when I'm feeling anxious, I just get up from my desk and stretch, rather than reaching for time-wasters.

Hi Cameron,

Yes this is possible with FocusMe. You would also need to block Task Manager and the FocusMe uninstaller. Also you would need to enter a custom period to block for. This is all very easy. I can show you how to do this. Just email me at the support email address.

Looks interesting. I have two questiosn:

 

1) Can it be installed on a Windows XP machine by a user without admin rights ? I work on a managed desktop at work. No admin authority.

2) Is there a trial version available ?

Yes, FocusMe should run without admin rights on XP. Please just download and run the zip version.

There is a 7 day free trial available. Let me know if you need any longer.
