I have completed one game, and I'm willing to help anyone else in the
future who plays that character. In the "Lobby" area, I ticked the
box "willing to help", but every time I come back to the Lobby, the
box is cleared. Do I have to save this setting, and if so how do I do
it?

Thanks

I've seen that happen before ... out of curiosity what browser and
version are you running? Internet Explorer 5 or 6 or 7, Firefox,
Safari, Opera?

Lemme see what I can do.

Oh well, at least it's not just me.

I'm using Explorer, but I don't know the version number.

Thanks,

Dear ACF 287, I had the same problem as you at first. Then I tried
clicking the short blue line between the box & the next word ( I think
"I") and the boxes stayed checked. It being awhile back & my memory
not being what it was, perhaps it was the space and the line popped up
after but I'm pretty sure the blue line was there first. If you've
already tried this & it still didn't work, I see that Sandy is looking
into it by his reply aand can figure it out for you. Hope this helps.
Good luck. Sincerely, Terry Marie Wrote this reply before but
it didn't show up so if you get 2 ,you'll know why.

To find your version of any program you have loaded, here's what I do:

Start>>settings>>control panel>>add/remove software

Scroll down and highlight the program in question. If the version
number doesn't show up when you highlight, look for a "help" link
within the highlighted area for that program. Click on it, and you
will see the version number in an inset window. Note that on these
insets, the button marked with the word "close" doesn't usually work
(for me); I end up clicking the "X" tab in the top right corner of the
inset "help" window. .

DO NOT CLICK ON "CHANGE/REMOVE PROGRAM"

Just back out of this -- close the windows.

I once tried keeping a notebook, but so many programs auto-update,
that checking via the programs listing is more accurate (and
easier!).
