Skiing from the top of Mt. Hood and Chocolate Party

Hi folks, 

Sorry for the short notice.  I've been out of town for the past 2 weeks. 

There are 2 interesting events happening. One this Saturday (tomorrow) and the other the following Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026.

And then yet another one on Saturday, March 28.

1. Saturday, Feb. 21.   Two things are happening. 

    a) People are going skiing on Mt. Hood. Not everyone has announced their plans, but Kurt Wilke and Emilio Trampuz will be skiing at Timberline, starting around noon.  Look for the orange glags attached to their ski poles.

   b) Later that same evening, starting at 7 pm, there will be a presentation about skiing from the top of Mt. Hood. Presented by Asit Rathod, who has done it probably more times than anyone else.  The presentation will be at the Mt. 3.  The annual Ski the Glade Trail Day has been in limbo as we waited for snow.  But it will happen.  It has just been postponed from the first Saturday in March to the last Saturday in March.  It will be held on Saturday, March 28.  Details will be posted on our website, www.mthigh.org ,  within the next couple of days.
