Timberline this Sunday

Hey folks, it's snowing on Mt. Hood this Friday, and visibility is low right now, plus it's windy. But the storm will subside somewhat on Saturday, and Sunday is supposed to be a partly sunny day.  So, how about we meet up for a day of skiing this Sunday?

On a Sunday, you don't need to deal with rush hour traffic, and if at least 4 lifts are open at Timberline, there are no significant lift lines.  Meanwhile, if you drive up during a week day, you have to deal with rush hour traffic both coming up and going back home.

Drive up early, because the parking lots fill up very early these days. Or, you could take the Mt. Hood Express bus for just $2.50 from Sandy or from any other stops it makes on the way to Timberline.

 

Meet up at the rear entrance to the day lodge, near the free ski check, fully dressed and ready to ski off around 9 am.

Hi Michele,
Thanks for posting your message.  Our Forum needs more messages like this, and more people to respond. 

But, just a bit of feedback.  It might have worked better for you if you had started a "New conversation" and titled it something like "Skiing at Meadows this Sunday."  By replying to my original message instead, your message is now under the heading of "Skiing at Timberline".
