Clary DeRemer has passed away

Do you remember Clary DeRemer? Not everyone
has met her, but she has skied a lot with us in the past 7 or 8
years (or more?). She skied with us at Timberline and at Mt.
Hood MEadows, and at the Bachelor Blast on Mt. Bachelor. She
also joined us on several ski trips. She was an excellent skier.
In December of
2023, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was told
she would have a maximum of another year to live. Well, it
turns out she only had another 5 months or so.
She passed away at OHSU on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 2 pm. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family.
She was was a good skier. Here is a picture I took of her 5 years ago on the Palmer snowfield at Timberline in May 2019:
Her face is more visible in this photo, also in 2019. She was with Emilio, Sandra Smith, Charley, and Clary.
And finally a picture of Clary at Mt. Bachelor in 2022 - just 2 years ago.
Clary is in the yellow jacket. Kurt Wilke and Lisa Miller are next to her.

I loved Clary for her solid skiing but more importantly for her loving sole. Lovely Person. I will miss her!
