I'm headed to Lake Mayfield on Thursday May 1st to kayak. Contact me if you are interested in joining. Launching from Ike Kinswa State Park. We will be heading up the Tilton River. There are 2 or 3 short portages due to current and/or shallow water. It's beautiful up there.

That’s a beautiful area for kayaking, I have done it last year in July. At this time of the year I don’t think that you will have to worry about low water levels . I would think that the water levels are rather on the high side. Too bad that it’s on a Thursday, otherwise I would have joined.

Lake Mayfield / Tilton River kayak cancelled. 

I was too impetuous, it's not going to work out going to Lake Mayfield this Thursday. I will plan on going there later in the season.
