Anyone up for Timberline on Monday?

Hmm, ... hard to tell what the conditions will be like on Monday, Dec. 4.  It's still very early in the season.

Timberline initially said that only the Pucci lift will be open, but it turns out that ALL the lifts were closed today, Saturday, Dec. 2nd, due to high winds.  They plan to open the lifts on Sunday.

There does seem to be enough snow on the ground, with a reported base of 31", but it might be quite stormy for the next few days.  This might translate into good fresh powder, but visibility might be a bit low. I think I'll wait out this first wave of storms.

Hi I was up there today, picked up my Timberline instructor uniform and season pass.

Crazy dangerous strong winds an no visibility. Tree branches flying all over.

Tomorrow morning thru Wednesday heavy rain, I am doubtful if they will be opening. My advice stay home, not worth it.

It's always a bad sign when you see tree branches flying horizontally over Timberline road.

Hi 

Up at Timberline today Sunday, lifts are running, but Monday till Wednesday this upcoming week the lifts will not be running. They will reevaluate the situation by Wednesday next week whether to open or not.

Hi mid-weekers, 

I also appreciate the updates. Thanks Volker. I will be up to TLine to teach on Friday- Monday. Fingers crossed there will be enough snow to ski midweek the following week. Plan to free ski mid -week both Tline and Meadows this year.
