I recently came across a fascinating initiative called Generative CAD — an education-focused organization in Ghana using 3D printing and digital fabrication to transform how young people learn design, innovation, and problem-solving.
What really stood out to me is how they’re bringing hands-on creativity into schools, empowering students to move from consumers of technology to creators.
It made me wonder — could similar programs thrive here in Kenya, especially with our growing innovation ecosystem in places like Nairobi, Eldoret, and Mombasa?
Imagine if students could design and print their own prototypes — from robotics parts to sustainable packaging concepts — right from the classroom!
