It's a year today, several of our brothers and sisters lost their lives in a brutal experience, very many people were affected forever by this. Today, on behalf of the Mombasa Tech Community CBO, we would like to pass our feelings to all the people out there who lost their loved ones. Remembering is an act of resurrection, each repetition a vital layer of mourning, in memory of those we are sure to meet again.
If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We’d express all our unspoken love;
We’d have countless things to say.
If we could bring you back again,
We’d say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.
If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You’d know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.
Grief never ends, but it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. The sense of loss must give way if we are to value the life that was lived.
To God we all belong and to Him we shall all return,
May God give peace to all affected...
