I'm attaching a press release about the selection of an Indian conservationist and mountaineer, Dr. Harshwanti Bisht, to receive the sixth Sir Edmund Hillary Mountain Legacy Award. Dr. Bisht's work is exceptionally worthy of the international spotlight, and she is about to launch a new organization: Mountain Power, an association of women's mountaineering clubs at colleges and universities throughout the Himalayan region.
