It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of William Nolan Sr.. Please see below the information regarding Mr. Nolan and the arrangements. Let's keep Mr. Nolans' family in our prayers.
Mr. Bill Nolan, Sr.
Please join the Mount Carmel community in praying for the soul of Mr. Bill Nolan, Sr. who died on Wednesday morning surrounded by the love of his wife and family. Mr. Nolan graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1953. He raised a family of seven children and sent all four of his sons to Mount Carmel, including Mr. Bill Nolan, Jr., Mount Carmel's Director of Enrollment and Admissions. After retiring from many years of service as a Fireman/Captain for the Chicago Fire Department, Mr. Nolan returned to Mount Carmel as a volunteer on our Security team for the past few years. The wake service is planned for Friday from 3-9 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., in Oak Lawn. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at Noon at St. Cajetan. May Our Lady of Mount Carmel pray for the consolation of Mr. Nolan's family and friends and may the Saints of Carmel welcome Mr. Nolan into God's eternal embrace.
