Fact: In 1920 - Denver Census lists James A. Morris (Papa) Father from
PA

Fact: The 1880 Census in Williamson County lists M.B. Morris as
divorced and children as Achcah, Columbous, Augusta, Kirt. Augusta is
a Male born in 1874.

Family Notes - Augusta was "a lot older" than Bertha (his wife) when
they married.

Augusta was friends with Albert Roe (who was James' uncle) and this may
have been in IL or CO.

Albert Roe was born in IL.

Albert Roe was a coal miner in IL and CO.

Augusta was an "agitator" for the coal miners union going from mine to
mine to get the miners to join up.

I know this is wild but I dreamed his name was David Augusta Morris!!!
Also if he is from PA was he born in IL?

That is wild! The info that I posted is what you sent me in an email 12/09/05. That still seems puzzling to me where PA came from. On the 1880 Census, if I remember right, it showed Augusta being from IL. Maybe his father was from PA? I don't have a paid account with Ancestry.com so I can't check it. I do have a membership with a Pennsylvania group on MSN. I'll post a request there and see if we get anything.

I'll keep you posted. You would think that someone out there would have some info on him or his family somewhere.
