By now I’m sure all of you have heard the comments all over the media this morning about the left-leaning Politico’s story that members of Congress have just found out that *gasp – horrors* they and their own staffs, pulling down 6 figures a year in salary, can’t afford Obama’s Affordable Health Care.

One Dumbocrat actually had the nerve to say that ‘it’s not fair’ that his staff has to suffer under the provisions of ObamaCare that he voted to impose on the rest of us.

As a result there could be ‘brain drain’ in D.C. by the end of the year while smart people, both elected and those who serve them, retire under the provisions of the generous health care they enjoy as federal employees rather than the Draconian effects of ObamaCare which kick in January 1.

There’s an Iowa Senator named Chuck Grassley that we all owe a huge thanks to for sticking the Grassley Amendment in the Affordable Health Care Act. In effect, the amendment says that Congress has to give up its perk-laden health care (did you know that taxpayers pay 75% of the premium under that plan) and live w/ ObamaCare when it becomes law. It was a poison pill designed to bring the Dumbocrats to their senses before it was too late and they voted for the law. But there is no accounting for the stupidity of jack asses – it’s a law of nature as immutable as the law of gravity. They voted for Obamacare anyway. It cost them seats in 2010 and 2012 and it may cost them both chambers in the 2014 elections when people find out what they’ve been saddled with. Anyway, kudos to Grassley.

Now the Dumbocrats want an exemption from the law just like McDonald’s, Wal-Mart and all the unions who contributed to their campaigns. Either that or they’ll quit. I say, ‘good riddance to trailer park sewage’ but we all know how many pay attention to me.

Now the really stupid part. They think they are so important that if they tell their plight to the public we will feel sorry for them and worse yet, beg them to stay. Sadly, the voting Dumbocrats will fall for it.

The federal government and the education system it has reduced to caricature really are the enemy of the middle class.

Now for the sad part. The media will steadfastly ignore the story while their advertising numbers plummet like the Titanic to the bottom. The only way these ridiculous Beltway people get the comeuppance they so richly deserve is if the late nite comics start making fun of them. Leno will, he has nothing to lose at this point and can tell the truth. Fallon will tell 3 jokes about it tonight and be done w/ it. Letterman, Kimmel & Stewart will ignore it and Maher will actually defend Congress. You read it here first, folks.
