Montpelier Home Weatherization Workshop: Saturday Nov. 17  

Learn how to identify and prevent heat loss.  People are welcome to attend just the morning, or just the afternoon session. Free and open to the public.  Bring
a bag lunch.  Contributions appreciated.

Where:  The informational workshop will be at Montpelier City Hall from 9am-12:45pm, while the hands-on demonstrations will be at North Branch Nature Center from 1-3pm

Bulk order of speciality energy-saving products

With all the talk of weatherization efforts and the Lighten Up Montpelier CFL campaign, many folks are wondering where to buy the goods.  While Hunger Mountain Co-op, Somers, and Aubuchon stock much of what you'll need, some specialty products are harder to find locally.  For this reason, Going Green is coordinating a bulk order of weatherstripping, specialty CFLs, and other energy saving products from the Energy Federation Inc.  The pick-up will occur at the Montpelier Winter Farmers' Market on Saturday, December 1 from 10am-2pm.  If that date and time works for you, then download an order form at http://www.goinggreenvt.com/EFI_OrderForm2.pdf and turn it in by November 26.
