Having filled a few Pocket and Large Moleksines, I started labeling
the cover and binding with a silver pen. But the ink from the pen I'm
using doesn't stay intact well and tends to smudge. I'm using a
Sanford Gel Impact 1.0 mm Silver.

Are there any silver or gold ink pens that will label Moleskine covers
a little more permanently?

It's been a awhile ago, but I think it was a silver Sharpie Marker Pen. Worked great.

Phew, I haven't even filled my first one yet.  I'm so impressed you have many.

I switched to using printed lables for mine, but I still have a Dymo
Label Buddy that works well.

Gold metallic Sharpie works great on my Moleskine notebooks.
