This may be old news .... but things take a while to reach us down
under!

Saw The Davinci Code this evening. In the opening scenes, Tom Hanks is
shown making a speech to the crowd, reading his notes from his Pocket
(lined) Moleskine (or something VERY similar!)
Can anyone verify? If this is proven my friends might not think I'm
quite so weird for carrying it everywhere. :p

I thought it to be a moleskine when i saw it too on da vinci code.

Neat.
I saw one of my University Profs scribbling notes in one during class
recently too. The Moleskine scourge continues!

Saw the film last night and it's the distinctive Moleskine alright.
It's lined and he has the elastic band holding the right side of the
journal open.

I saw the movie today and I am quite confident that it was a moleskine notebook.I think both of you are right.

I also saw the movie today - yes it is almost certainly a moleskine -
he had the elastic band keeping his place. It was the lined one and it
had the distinctive round corners

I (finally?) saw the film last night, and yes, that is 100% a Moleskine
Pocket Ruled in the opening scene. Sure, there are some very clever
Moleskine look-a-likes out there, but none that I've seen have the same
color paper. I'm sure *someone* will take a still from a cam of the
movie and post it online soon...
