Dear people,

In our old 1929 Ford A firetruck we see (the green arrows) something we can not identify.

Who can tell me what it is, and where it is needed for.

All for theft protection, armored cable into the distributor prevents someone from "jump starling" motor, other device is a device that allows you to hide a safety shut off switch someplace were only you know its location. They are also used on race cars so ground crews can disable voltage in case of accident to prevent fire....
