I was looking at testing out a fairly old MG app with the 3.2 RC2 and immediately ran into an issue. In a number of my page views I am injecting some custom per page JS and CSS files using cfhtmlhead. When I am using MG 3.1, this works fine. However, in 3.2 RC2, my additional header code is not rendering. After hunting through the code, it appears that the new Asset Manager is overriding my cfhtmlhead code with it's own.

I looked all over the place and can find zero documentation or discussion on how the Asset Manager works. Does anyone know if I can simply turn this feature off so that I can test the rest of the base code without having to alter a lot of pages? The only reference that I can find in the configuration files is a setting to map where the asset files reside.

I can honestly say that it’s been long enough I do not recall any details.

I strongly encourage you to work thru the code and see…

Dan, do you have any info on this? It’s been a while since I was terribly involved in the ModelGlue world and just can’t remember…
