With bright yellow feathers, Volker on Mobile hosts Carnival #193,
where as Volker Hirsch writes, "We have an abundance of variety,
showing how incredibly diverse this “little” niche has already
become."

We are mobile pundits!
In his New York Times William Safire obituary today, I was struck by
this:
"Mr. Safire called himself a pundit — the word, with its implication
of self-appointed expertise, might have been coined for him . . ."

I suppose bloggers are pundits -- and as mobile rolls into the
mainstream we can contribute importantly to its emergence. Pundits are
important to causes. The Wall Street Journal (for which Safire was a
competitor) wrote a tribute to William Safire today called "A
competitor who had our back when we needed him."

So, the Carnival of the Mobilists is a festival of mobile punditry
