1.8.2 cleared all my previous session, which I kept from starting with
this program (2006). A very unwelcome feature! How do I get these back?

Looks like there's a relevant bug here.

As far as I can tell, Migration Agent is for some reason not doing
what's supposed to.

Could you describe your system configuration? I will be glad to assist
you in solving this problem.

A quick and dirty trick in the meantime to let you use the previous
sessions with 1.8.2.

Be sure that MiniBatteryLogger is not running, then:

- open Home/Library/Application Support/MiniBatteryLogger. You will
see a folder named Sessions, and one or more folders with long names
made by apparently random digits and letters, like
"dc9e3f71847dbb4bddf012aecf9aef63-0". If you're lucky, there's just
one of those.
- keep a backup copy of the folder Home/Library/Application Support/
MiniBatteryLogger just in case.
- copy the files with .monitoringsession extensions located under
Sessions/0/ to <weird_named_folder>/Sessions/
- run MiniBatteryLogger 1.8.2. You should now see the old sessions.

System config is a MacbookPro 17" early 2006 running Leopard 10.5.2
I upgraded from MBL 1.8.1. I will try your tricks, luckily I have
recent backups from Time Machine.

Hope this helps you sort out the bug, thanks for the quick response.

From conversation with another user I am aware that old sessions
should still be present in their original location.

Anyway I will have to fix the bug by guessing since I am still
developing & testing on my iBook G4@1.2 GHz since 2004.

This kind of remembers me a quote from "The hunt for Red October",
where the russian submarine's navigator Kamarov said "Give me a
stopwatch and a map, and I'll fly the Alps in a plane with no
windows" :)

Best regards,
Claudio
