I found through your software that my battery capacity went downhill
suddenly after installing battery update software. I went from 4800mAH
to 1500mAH max capacity. Battery runtimes went down to about an hour.
Apple says that (on their support web site) there are four cases where
the battery quits. They support replacing the battery free if these
conditions occur after the software update.

Just thought you'd like to know about this issue and how the MBL helps
diagnose a sudden change in battery's power delivery capacity.

You should look at the shared data
(<http://burgos.emeraldion.it/mbl/list/?machine=MacBookPro1,1>) to learn
what's a "reasonable" value for your battery conditions; although, I
doubt there is any entry with more than 300 cycles. Probably Apple's
data comes from pre-release testing units?
