TWALD 2025 September 5, 6, 7

I'm putting together my time off requests for 2025. I list TWALD as a religious holiday so my boss can't deny it.

TWALD 2025 will be The Weekend After Labor Day, September 5, 6, 7. Yes this conflicts with the AHRMA race in New Jersey. AHRMA's roadracing director was trying to convince me to come out and volunteer at the event, that conversation turned hilarious when I pointed out that she should know I'm busy that weekend because she's been to TWALD more than a couple times.

Anyway, expect all the usual shenanigans that have been a part of this thing for the last 20 + years.

Also, can't believe I forgot to mention this: thanks to everyone who bought a t-shirt, sweatshirt, patch, pin or sticker and an extra big thank you to the donation from the guy that sold Chad a truckload of parts we raised $600 for the 2024 TWALD charity fund. The 2024 donation on behalf of The Chicago Vintage Motorcyclists went to the Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program. Among other things the SWCAP provides mental health counseling to underserved areas in rural Southwestern Wisconsin.

I cannot thank Gabe Lanza enough for his continued willingness to turn my goofy ideas into great images for the shirts. Also once again thank you to Brian Bowles for hooking me up with his printer.

Sub freezing temps in the extended forecast for the next month or so. I've got the studded tires on my dirt bike and it's in the van. Let's rock.
