Spirit Club: Meeting tomorrow
Seniors: A number of colleges are coming to visit next week. Check the list and sign-up in Guidance.
For any special occasion, remember to order a Borcher’s Balloon arrangement at lunch. Each balloon bouquet costs $6.00.
The Impact Club is having a can food drive until Fall Break. Donate your can food in the barrel across from the attendance window.
Students interested in joining a Destination Imagination Team should pick up an application in the main office. Please return your completed application form to the office by October 1.
Interact Club is still accepting members through October 1. See Mrs. Newman in Room 201 if you are interested in joining. Current Interact Club members can now sign up in room 201 for our upcoming events: bake sale, homecoming parade, carry in for conference night, rotary luncheon and two other service opportunities.
Homecoming tickets are on sale through tomorrow. If you are bringing someone from a different school, you must fill out a yellow guest form before buying tickets. Guest forms can be found in the office. Tickets are $10 each. The dance is 8-11 pm Saturday and the theme is “Under the Stars.”
Do you know a teacher who has went above and beyond for a student? If so, complete a "FRED" nomination form and give it to Mr. Black. The nominations can be found in the library and in the main office. Nominations are due by Sept. 30.
Spirit Week: Thursday-Twin Day, Friday-Blue & White Day
If you are interested in playing Powder Puff Football, the game is Thursday at 5:30. Sign-up in the commons and plan to attend the bonfire at 7:30.
Homecoming Assembly is on Friday, October 1. We need student volunteers for class competitions. Sign up at lunch. Also, nominate your favorite classmate for Mr. and Mrs. Spirit.
If you enjoyed free ice cream last week and would like to be a member of the Diversity Forum and plan more activities, come to our meetings on Thursdays at 2:20 in Room 220. We need more members for service.
Junior Statesmen of America: Debate today after school in Room 415. “Resolved that political figures be sworn in on the Constitution rather than religious texts.”

The Lady Viking Varsity Tennis team has been selected to participate in the GOLD FLIGHT of the GWOC League Tournament. Way to go!!
