miami windy - video flash

Hello guys,

Weve got some wind tonight due to i guess Dennis, but looks like
nothing that bad.

I saw people today at some meeting encoding full movies and playing it
with flash -> streaming, they are attempting to use it for a large
audience - do you really think they are gonna be successfull with this
?

Well, flash is already well distributed and it supports video
streaming. Building a new technology or having to license one is very
expensive. On the other hand, Flash has a vast set of tools to
manipulate and stream video, so I can understand why they would do it.
