MiRobotClub domain names

I hope that everyone is doing well.

I'm not sure of the status of the MiRobot club but it's time to renew the mirobotclub.com and  mirobotclub.org domains again. If there is any interest please let me know and I will work with you to get them transferred, otherwise they will expire on Aug. 25th 2020.

I'm doing just fine here, mostly working from home.  I've recently moved from Farmington Hills to Beverly Hills and that puts me out of comfortable range from Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti.  Still working at Nissan in Farmington Hills on V2X communications.

The last posting on FB is over a year ago and the next to last posting on GG was last November.

The activity level has dropped to zero this year, so I'm just wondering if it's worth the time and effort to keep things up.  Granted, covid-19 has definitely put a dent in gatherings and meetings.

Also, we haven't had any fresh new blood in a long while and that is not good for the group's future.  I see that happening with a lot of HAM Radio groups, 'cause the old guys are dying off.

Yes, the transfer is free. You would just need to renew the domains. I will send you the auth codes in a separate email.

I initiated the transfer for both of the Domains. Do you any of you have a copy of the old website and even the information about the old YAARC club? I'll be glad to add a section on the website for that. Let me knpw!

I verified both domain names. It looks like MiRobotClub.org has transferred but MiRobotClub.com has not yet transferred. I will need to look for the old content which may take a bit.

The MiRobotClub domains were forwarding to http://mirobotclub.weebly.com which is still active and contains a good number of photos.

Cool. Hope that site will stay up for a bit and I can try to scrap the content. Will ask for feedback and can add details about the google groups as well.
