Dear Friends,
Today, on World Water Day, we’re
celebrating the global release of Water
is Love: Ripples of Regeneration,
an award-winning documentary film
produced by Tamera Media.
The film is now available for
streaming and dozens of
local screenings are taking place around
the world today. The documentary is in
English and has subtitles available in
Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, German,
French, Polish, Turkish, Greek, Arabic,
Vietnamese, Japenese and Chinese.
Here’s our call to action:
Please share the film with at least 10
friends today! To make it
easy for you, we prepared ready-to-use templates
for email, social media, WhatsApp and
Telegram.
Water is Love shows how we can
build community amid crisis and
transform degraded landscapes into
places of water abundance, biodiversity
and climatic balance. The documentary
follows a group of youth shaken by the
ecological emergency, portrays projects
of ecological regeneration on three
continents and explains the fascinating
workings of water cycles through an
original animation.
- “I hope that everyone who
cares about the climate crisis will
watch this film.”
Skeena Rathor, co-founder of Extinction
Rebellion
- “The film is wonderful. It
should be shown in every school and
university everywhere.”
Maude Barlow, Blue Gold
author
- “A fantastic film that is so
important.”
Paul Hawken, Regeneration
author
- “I loved it! Water is Love
will empower the next generation to
build an ecological society.”
Debbie Bookchin, award-winning
journalist and ecological activist
Bringing Water is Love into
the world is a way to scale up
community-driven decentralized water
management to a globally relevant
dimension. At a time of ecological
emergency, we want this pivotal message
to reach as many people as possible.
Will you help us?
You can also organize
a local screening and gather
people in your region.
Starting on Monday, we’ll be holding daily
Instagram Live talks with
activists, practitioners, scientists,
thought leaders etc. to further unpack
and deepen the issues of the film. Among
those confirmed already are Kumi Naidoo,
V (formerly Eve Ensler), Alnoor Ladha,
Helena Norberg-Hodge, Gail Bradbrook,
among others. If you want to watch the
conversations, make sure to follow us on
Instagram: @waterislove.film.
Please let us know what you thought and
felt about the film. We hope to hear
from you!
In gratitude, solidarity and love for
the waters,
