"Our New World Archaeology Council is ready to accept registrations for our third Maya Symposium to be held on October 18, 2008 at the Beckman Center in Irvine, CA.  The theme of our academic event is "Mesoamerican Mythologies".   We have updated our website:  www.mesoamericanmythologies.info  to include our event registration form, the schedule of our guest speakers, with the title of their presentations, an announcement about our Keynote speaker banquet, and a description of the Beckman Center venue.  To register, please go to our website and fill out the registration form as directed.   Symposium registrations will be cut-off after the first 200 registrants are received and after the first 90 attendees sign up for our outstanding banquet event and speaker, Mary Ellen Miller.  Based on the popularity of our last "Maya Murals" Symposium in 2006, we would highly recommend that you register early.   We would really appreciate it if you would pass this information along to others that may be interested and/or post this announcement into a Newsletter or onto an electronic Bulletin Board, if appropriate.      Thanks so much for your support and we hope to see you at our event this October.
