From the Los Angeles County Museum of Art:

The ancient American galleries will feature an innovative exhibition
installation designed by renowned artist Jorge Pardo. Pardo’s
exuberant display—showcasing over 3,000 years of North, Central, and
South American art history— provides a total “art environment” by
encapsulating the gallery walls with fluid casework, an undulating
system of drapes, and a palette of reds, oranges, yellows, and greens
to support the thematic installation.

Also on Saturday, July 26, LACMA will celebrate the much-anticipated
unveiling of the reinstalled Latin American galleries. The newly
renovated third floor of the Art of the Americas Building will house
everything from Spanish colonial to modern and contemporary works from
LACMA’s extensive Latin American Art collection.

This is truly an exciting time in LACMA’s history as these galleries
have been closed for over a year.
