This is a quick note to remind everyone that registration for the 3rd
Annual Merit Badge University, at Kennesaw State University, on October
21, 2006, closes for registration at mid-night, Sep 30. If you haven't
been to the online registration program at www.meritbadge.info, take a
couple of minutes and see what's still open.

counselors.

in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World,
Communications, Composite Materials, Computers, Crime Prevention,
Dentistry, Dog Care, Electricity, Electronics, Emergency Preparedness,
Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Science, Fingerprinting,
Fingerprinting, Fire Safety, First Aid, Fishing, Fly Fishing,
Genealogy, Golf, Graphic Arts, Law, Medicine, Nature, Nuclear Science,
Painting, Personal Fitness, Personal Management, Photography, Radio,
Salesmanship, Space Exploration, Textile and Weather merit badges.
The Merit Badge University serves as an annual Quality Merit Badge
Program that helps Scouts learn about different fields of knowledge by
recruiting experienced professional counselors and maintaining a
limited classroom size. We teach boys Merit Badges in a University
setting.
The BUGLING CONTEST will be the first in our area and expect it to be
spectacular. We worked with a retired Air Force Reserve bandsman to
write the rules and regulations as well as prizes for this competition.
