Dear Memphis Ultimate Friends,

I very much enjoyed Summer League this year and feel it was a great success. I appreciate all the organizers and participants that contributed to the positive attitudes and great competitive play throughout the summer! Thanks to everybody!

As summer league is concluded in Memphis, we have some great activities planned in Jonesboro in the near future, and we very much encourage and welcome participation by all our Memphis friends and neighbors.

1) The “Get Grubby” memorial tournament in Jonesboro will be held on Saturday (Aug 13) starting at 5:00 pm. This is a night tournament and we will turn on the lights about 8:00 pm and play into the wee hours of Sunday morning. We think this will be a unique and very fun tournament! Matt circulated some information, and we would love to see 3 or more teams participate from Memphis! This is a savage co-ed tournament with a limit of 9 players per team.

2) Attached is a flyer and registration form for the Jonesboro Fall Ultimate League, which will be played on Tuesday nights starting on Sept 27^th. Last fall Jason Dickard, Erica Stoltz, and Andrew Ratts car-pooled from Memphis to participate in Fall League, and we all had a great time. Of course, all the games are under the lights at nice fields. Also, we do some fun things such as provide individual awards for most valuable male and female participants, most improved male and female participants, best defender, and best spirit.
